Blaine County Emergency Communications has a staff of 15 employees, who answer approximately 32,000 calls annually. All employees receive training, and must maintain certification in:
 
APCO Basic Telecommunicator

APCO Emergency Medical Dispatch

National Incident Management System (NIMS) ICS

ILETS/NCIC

CPR

TDD

 

Employees work 12 hour shifts, including days, nights, every other weekend, and holidays. Applications are only accepted for current available positions, which will be posted with opening and closing dates.
