Property Tax Reduction Program (Circuit Breaker)

  • The Circuit Breaker reduces property taxes for qualified applicants. The amount of reduction is based on income for the previous calendar year. You must apply for this program through the Assessor’s office before April 15th. Homeowner’s Exception

  • If you are a homeowner, you can apply for an exemption on the value of your owner-occupied primary residence, including a manufactured home. The exemption applies to 50% of the value of the residence (including up to one acre of land) or $100,000, whichever is less. You must apply for this program through the Assessor’s office before April 15th.
